What is known about Shebitku (Shabataka)
Lost a battle against the Assyrians in Palestine. Earlier scholarship regarded him as the successor of Shabaka.

The period: Third Intermediate Period
The realm breaks up into several spheres of power: kings of Libyan descent in the Nile Delta, the High Priests of Amun in Thebes and finally the kings of Kush from what is now Sudan.
